About Ryan Herren

Hey, I'm Ryan — a photographer, videographer, and drone pilot based in Des Moines, Iowa. I've had the chance to work with great partners like Iowa State Athletics and Nike, along with plenty of local businesses, athletes, and grads along the way.

I'm a Part 107 certified commercial drone pilot (and fully insured), so I can fly legally at games, events, and just about anywhere else that needs an aerial angle. On the ground I shoot on Sony mirrorless gear for photo and video; in the air I run a DJI Mavic 3 Pro for big cinematic shots and a cinewhoop FPV drone when I want to get up close and fly through the action.
